Rev. Carson began serving Van Wyck Presbyterian in August 2015. She is a graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2011) and Lynchburg College (B.S. Health Promotion, 1996). Rev. Carson previously served as Associate Pastor for Young Adults & Outreach at First Presbyterian of Tupelo, MS (2011-2015) and as Director of Outreach at Rehoboth Presbyterian of Decatur, GA (2009-2011).
Rev. Carson loves preaching, teaching, and making God’s grace known in the ordinary spaces of life. She loves weight lifting in the gym, painting with acrylics, writing poetry & reading memoirs, spending time with her two daughters, Devon and Ashley, and playing with her two dog-daughters, Bree & Lola.
