Vision

The vision of Victory World Prayer Center is simple.

The reason we exist is to see people who are far from God come to

LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, and SERVE ALL.

Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.”  (Matthew 22:34)

In Ephesians 4:11-12, Paul wrote this:

And He (God)  gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.

So, you see, once you come to love God, and love others, you’re ready to use your gifts and talents to serve.

Love God

All people ask two questions in the deepest part of their soul: "Have I done enough?  Am I good enough?"  We all have the nagging thought that the answer is, "No."

God sent Jesus to tell us, "I know your secrets.  I know you cannot do enough.  I know that you are not good enough, but I love you enough to die for you and set you free from your shame."  This is the Gospel.  This is the Good News.

When we come to know Christ, the only thing we can give to Jesus is our praise.  Praise is not a duty.  It is compulsory; it is consuming; it is contagious.  Praise is what we are created and saved for.

At Victory World Prayer Center we believe praise is important, because it shows our love for God and it brings the touch of God to our lives.

The vision of Victory World Prayer Center is to bring those who are far from Christ to the place where they can Love God, Love Others, and Serve All.  We believe that serving all includes our neighbors in the Auburn/Opelika community, as well as people overseas who need to be reached with the message of Christ.  Through Volunteer Central, we match people with the areas of ministry so that they can fulfill this calling, and through our missions initiative, Go Global, we touch the lives of people all over the world.  Look around and get an idea of the ministry opportunities available to you today.
