Life Group Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
Why do Life Groups?
A:
Our Sunday morning
services act as the “gravity” that draws people to our church, but it is
often difficult for people to form relationships if Sunday mornings are the
only times they interact with other believers. We are often missing the
“glue” that holds us together as a church family. We believe that Life
Groups are the key.
Q:
What are Life Groups?
A:
Life Groups are groups
of 8-14 people in a small group setting for a time of fellowship and
discipleship.
Q:
When do Life Groups
meet?
A:
Life Groups meet on
Wednesday nights in most cases, but if you are unable to meet on Wednesday,
call the church office at 334.821.1692 to find out about alternative times.
Q:
Where do Life Groups
meet?
A:
The first two weeks of
each semester, Life Groups will meet at Victory World Prayer Center. After
the first two weeks, Life Groups will meet in the leaders’ homes for the
remainder of the semester.
Q:
What about my children?
A:
Many Life Groups will
provide a program for children up to 5th grade. This will be a
small group format geared toward children, and will be an exciting time of
discipleship for them, as well. Jr. high and Sr. high students will have
Life Groups, too.
